National Criminal History Checks for organisations with FEWER than 500 checks within a 3-year period

Access to the NPCS is not available to organisations conducting fewer than 500 checks within a 3-year period. These organisations may seek a national criminal history check through two ways:

1. Their local police service. Please contact your State or Territory police service for assistance.
2. A CrimTrac-accredited “broker” e.g. commercial background checking service provider authorised to conduct national criminal history checks for and on behalf of its customers. Select the link to the NPCS Accredited Agencies List where you can locate a suitable broker.
